How long is the demo, and what will it cover?
The demo is a 30-minute walkthrough of the loyalty widget, gamified tiers, referral program, checkout redemption, review collection and membership, all demonstrated through a live store setup similar to yours.
Can I see how Nector works before booking a demo call?
Yes. The product video on Nector.io walks you through the loyalty widget, tiers, referrals, checkout redemption, and reviews running on a live store. The rest of the website also covers the product in depth. However, important details, such as how Nector fits your specific setup, which features apply to your business, and which do not, are often easier to understand through a conversation. Speaking directly with the team is usually the quickest way to get answers tailored to your requirements.
How long does migration take, is there any risk of data loss, and can both systems run in parallel during the transition?
Migration happens in three steps: we map your existing data, test it in a safe environment, and only then complete the transition. Your existing points balances, tier statuses, referral history, and past transactions are carefully checked before customers begin using Nector. This helps ensure that customers do not log in and find incorrect balances or missing information. Your existing system and Nector can also run in parallel during the transition. You will not need to shut down your current system before Nector is ready. The migration timeline depends on the volume and complexity of your data. Our team moves as quickly as possible without compromising accuracy.
Why is Nector’s pricing higher than other loyalty programs we evaluated?
If you are a purely online D2C brand with no physical retail presence, a lighter online-only tool may genuinely be cheaper and sufficient. Nector’s pricing delivers greater value when a brand needs loyalty to work at both the store counter and the online checkout as one connected system, not as two separate programs.
Why are online and in-store loyalty program charges different?
In-store loyalty requires POS integrations, staff-facing redemption tools, and support for retail-specific scenarios such as split payments and returns. Online loyalty typically requires fewer integration points, particularly when it runs through platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce. The pricing difference reflects this additional infrastructure and complexity, not an arbitrary markup. Pricing is structured around what each channel requires to operate reliably. Because retail setups can vary significantly by POS provider, outlet count, and operational requirements, in-store pricing is generally customized to the brand’s specific footprint rather than offered at one flat rate.
We already have a custom-built loyalty program. Why should we move to Nector?
A custom-built loyalty program can work well if it is actively maintained and your team has the bandwidth to keep improving it. The long-term cost becomes clearer when every new requirement such as tiers, referrals, POS support, reward catalogue changes, or new redemption rules, must be built and maintained internally. That work can compete directly with your core product roadmap. Nector’s team focuses specifically on loyalty infrastructure, including point accrual, tiers, referrals, reviews, memberships, and POS synchronization. This allows your engineering team to focus on your core product. If your existing system already meets all your requirements and your team has the capacity to maintain it, continuing with it may still be the right decision.
What is Nector’s main USP compared to other loyalty programs?
Two things set Nector apart. Unified online and in-store loyalty: customers have one identity and one points balance, whether they shop on your website or visit a physical store. Nector manages online and retail loyalty through a single platform, which is especially relevant for growing D2C and retail brands operating in both environments. And second, pricing designed for growing brands: enterprise platforms such as Capillary, Antavo, and Xeno are generally built for large businesses with substantial budgets and longer rollout timelines. Nector is designed for brands that need robust loyalty infrastructure without the investment and implementation complexity of a traditional enterprise platform. Nector’s pricing is structured around what each sales channel requires to operate reliably.
We use multiple POS systems across our retail outlets. How does Nector accommodate that?
Nector can integrate with multiple POS providers instead of requiring you to standardize every outlet on a single system. Current integrations include Zwing, QueueBuster, LogicERP, Fynd, and others. If different outlets use different POS systems, Nector can connect with each system at the outlet level so that the loyalty experience remains consistent for customers, regardless of where a transaction is processed. If you use a POS system outside the current integration list, the team can evaluate a custom integration. The listed providers represent Nector’s existing standard integrations, not the full limit of what may be technically possible.
Will I get store-wise reporting across my retail outlets?
Not at the moment. Current reporting is aggregated across all stores, with a distinction between online and offline sales. If store-level reporting is essential to your rollout, please raise it early in the sales conversation. We are currently in the process of building store-level reporting so that brands can access more granular insights across their retail outlets.
We operate a store-within-a-store model and sell multiple brands, including our own. How do you reward customers for eligible purchases?
This depends on the capabilities of your POS system. If the POS can identify loyalty-eligible products or brands at the line-item level, such a setup may be technically possible. However, this capability is not supported by Nector’s existing standard POS integrations today. Your POS provider would first need to support line-item-level brand segmentation, after which the Nector team would need to assess the technical fit individually. It is not currently available as an out-of-the-box feature.
